Cooincidences...

So, I send off an email to a dear friend telling her about a vision I had after
being on a teleconference call with her,
Ruth Lee and Sharon Wilson of
CoachingFromSpirit.com

They are planning a wonderful retreat to Ecuador in
June! After listening to this lesson from "The Teachers" I went to bed and had
a vision before falling asleep. I meant to tell Ruth, but for some reason forgot
until today.

Here's her post today:

I just love your blog! What a great way to let us know what is going on in your life at the moment.

Your art is inspiring me to do mine. How great a compliment is that? None better in my mind anyway.

Congratulations on your web site and your entire outlook on design for the modern woman. I will be ordering a dress very soon...still deciding on color. :)

Here's the email I sent her in passing:

I had a vision before going to sleep after you and Sharon's healing call,
It was a bright and clear as could be, as if I was actually right there, and
I forgot to tell you about it!
I saw you on your retreat wearing the bronze dress. You were teaching a
class outside or speaking to this group, and was setting on a slightly raised
platform. I know you were on the retreat because I the surroundings
were so different from here and it seems secluded with lots of trees around.
It seemed like maybe the remains of an ancient building place. Big stone
ground. It was a fast glimpse so I can't believe I remember all that!
Anyway, that's were I got the idea for tagging them as a meditation gowns:-)
------------

Doesn't that just make you want to smile:-) We are all more connected
that we really realize.

So, I set up this blog...

and haven't been back! LOL

Ever notice how we get so caught up in the every day things, that it overcomes us?
Sometimes I need to stop and do a reality check of where "I" am, and come back
to center.

So today, I'm posting on my blog for a short moment, finishing some work, and doing
my reality check outside on this beautiful 77 degree, full sunny day!

I've got breathing to do, and I'm sure you do to!

Take some time for you today, and every day!

Smiles:-)

Doing what you love and serving others

When I was a little kid, I wanted to be an artist. I LOVED art! However, growing up, I never got a chance to do more than finger paint in elementary school. That all changed last year when I felt this unexplainable urge to buy some paint and brushes.

You should have seen me in the Artists section of the store. I was lost! Oils, acrylics, water colors, types of brushes...and the list went on. I decided on some oil paint and completed my purchase with the tools I needed.

I went home that night to play. I needed to have some fun! I looked at that scary blank canvas waiting for me, took a deep breath, and made a brush stroke. I had NO idea what to paint, I was just "slapping color" and doing something new. What happened was a beautiful landscape with a night sky, and an old barn was born on that canvas. I was awestruck, and in love with painting!

Today, I paint my designs on clothing, producing works of art for my clients to express themselves through. I help them to express their uniqueness and personality in ways they
may not have thought of before.

I love what I do! Designing and serving others is not a separate thing for me. It's the whole picture.

What is it that you love to do? Are you doing it?

Take a step today to finding your passion and expressing it in your own unique way.
